Amy Anderson, COTA
Amy has lived in California, Louisiana and Ohio, however she and her husband are glad to be raising their two daughters in the Lone Star State. In 2006, Amy graduated as an Occupational Therapist Assistant from Austin Community College, a program accredited through the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education.  Amy has experience in the pediatric setting treating diagnoses such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Sensory Processing Disorder, Pervasive Developmental Disorder, developmental delay, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy and traumatic head injuries. Amy’s key focus areas include Neuro-Developmental Treatment and Sensory Integration, and is currently training for specialization in Torticollis.

Natara Andrews, CCC SLP
Natara is from Dallas, Texas. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from University of North Texas in 2004. She then moved to Little Rock, Arkansas and attended the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences graduating in May 2006 with a Masters of Science in Communication Disorders. During her stint as an Arkansan, she worked with children that had speech, expressive/receptive language, and pragmatic impairments in pre-school and outpatient settings. Natara returned to Texas in July of 2006 and worked with adults in a skilled nursing and long term care facility. She desired to return to pediatrics and joined the Milestones Family in January 2008. Her interests include the dynamics of verbal and nonverbal communication, feeding and swallowing, and how sensory processing affects speech and language development and learning in children.

Megan Barnard, SLP
Megan is a local native of Fredericksburg, Texas, currently residing in Austin with her husband and daughter Avery. She received her Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Texas Lutheran University and Master of Science in Communication Disorders from Texas State University-San Marcos. Her experience is with the pediatric population birth to teenage years including Autism Processing Disorder, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, language impairments, articulation disorders, fluency, oral motor dysfunction, feeding disorders and developmental delays. Her current interests include Autism Spectrum Disorder and feeding disorders.

Nikki Branch, MOT OTR
Nikki is currently the lead therapist at Milestones’ South Austin location. Originally from Houston, Texas, Nikki graduated with a Bachelors of Education in Health Science Studies from Baylor University in 1999 and with a Masters of Occupational Therapy from Texas Woman’s University in 2002. Nikki has specialized in evaluating and treating children birth through adolescence in an outpatient setting for over 5 ½ years. She has been a Handwriting Without Tears Level 1 certified handwriting specialist since February 2006. Nikki also holds a Certificate in Sensory Integration, which includes the administration and interpretation of the Sensory Integration and Praxis Tests.

Vicki Casey, CCC SLP
Vicki Casey has lived in Austin with her husband and children since 2005. She joined Milestones in January, 2008. Vicki and her family are having fun exploring and learning about the many facets of Texas and the variety of weather patterns it has to offer. Prior to moving to Texas, Vicki enjoyed living in California for the last twenty years, having worked for Children's Hospital of San Diego, and most recently living in the San Francisco Bay area where she worked in a variety of settings as a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist. Some of those have included a preschool program for speech-language impaired and developmentally delayed preschoolers at Alta Bates Hospital in Oakland, CA., and most recently working as a specialist with unintelligible preschool children for Petaluma City Schools in Sonoma County. Vicki loves working with children to help them enhance their communication skills; she believes that family participation in the therapy process is essential for optimal success. She loves learning about the vast field of speech-language pathology with continuing education, and she thinks that her best teachers have been her three children, ages 10, 13 and 17!

Teresa "Terri" Cruz-Beck, OTR
Terri is the mother of two beautiful girls and is the lead therapist for our North clinic. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from Texas Woman's University in 1993. She and her husband, Stephen, have lived in the greater Austin area since 2002. Terri has worked with children of all ages, from newborns to teenagers, in a variety of settings that include schools, in-home, inpatient rehabilitation, and outpatient clinic settings. She has significant experience in pediatrics with evaluation and treatment of Sensory Processing Disorders, Pervasive Developmental Disorders, including Autism and Asperger's, feeding difficulties, fine-motor delays, developmental delays, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Spina Bifida, congenital disorders, Traumatic Brain Injuries, visual deficiencies, and various syndromes. She is certified in administering the Sensory Integration & Praxis Tests (SIPT) and in use of the Therapeutic Listening protocols. In March 2005, Terri founded Play Ventures, Inc., a non-profit corporation, created to assist older children with special needs in improving their social skills through play in family groups, community outings, and appropriate peer interactions.

Rebecca Finn, OTR
Rebecca is a native of Colorado Springs, Colorado. She attended Colorado State University, graduating in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy. She and her husband moved to Austin in July, 2006 for her husband to attend the masters program at the UT School of Architecture. Rebecca has worked in clinical pediatrics for the past 5 years, treating children from newborn to teenager. She has experience treating children with feeding difficulties, autism, sensory processing disorder, fine motor delays as well as various syndromes.

April Gamble, MA SLP
April is originally from Coalgate, Oklahoma. She graduated from Oklahoma State University in May 2006 with a Bachelors Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She then went on to graduate school at The University of Texas at Dallas to obtain her Master's Degree. April has received special training in working with the pediatric hearing impaired population at the Callier Center for Speech and Hearing in Dallas, Texas. She has experience in pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders, oral motor dysfunction, language impairments, articulation impairments, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and various syndromes.

Stacey Lesieur, MS CCC SLP
Stacey is originally from San Antonio. She and her husband founded Milestones in 2002. Stacey received a Masters degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2000 and a Bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation from Southwest Texas State University in 1994. Stacey holds a Texas license in speech-language pathology and has ASHA certification. As a Speech-Language Pathologist she has worked exclusively with children in a clinical setting. She has experience with a wide variety of speech and language disorders and has special interest and training in Autism Spectrum disorders, oral motor dysfunction, articulation disorders and language delays.

Janet Magajna, BS PT
Janet is a graduate of the physical therapy program at State University of New York at Stony Brook. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in physical therapy in 1998. Janet has worked exclusively with the pediatric population in both the school and home-based settings. She moved to Austin 3 years ago and is a licensed P.T. in Texas and New York.
Janet has evaluated and treated children, ages birth to 13 years, with various diagnoses. Her on-going continuing education is focused on techniques associated with muscle strengthening, movement, balance, coordination and gait. Janet greatly enjoys working with children and is enjoying her new position at Milestones Children's Therapy.

Stacey Rosensteel, MS CCC-SLP
Stacey is originally from Alaska. She relocated to Texas two years ago from San Diego, California where she worked in a variety of settings to include inpatient and outpatient hospitals, private practice and school-based environments. She graduated with a Bachelors of Arts degree from San Diego State University and with a Masters of Science degree from Northern Arizona University. She has worked primarily in pediatric settings with children ages birth to 16 years of age. She has experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder, TBI, voice, language impairments, articulation disorders, fluency, early childhood education, swallowing and feeding disorders and various syndromes.

Jamie Schreckler, MA, OTR
A native of Dallas, Jamie graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Child Development and Family Relationships in 1998. She went on to receive her Master of Arts degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Southern California in 2001. She practiced in the Southern California area within outpatient, home and school based settings with children ages birth to 15 years of age prior to relocating to Austin in 2006. She is certified to administer and interpret the Sensory Integration and Praxis Tests, and has experience working with children with varying diagnoses, including sensory processing disorder, attention deficit, autism, genetic disorders, developmental delays, feeding difficulties, cerebral palsy, etc. She has focused on continuing education in the areas of sensory integration, feeding disorders, autism, visual efficiency, and torticollis.

Haley Smith, STA
Haley is, for all intents and purposes, a "native Austinite". She is a licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant who completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Austin. Previous to becoming an SLP-Assistant, Haley worked as a substitute Special Education teacher and aide for the Austin Independent School District. She has worked exclusively in a pediatric setting, with a variety of speech, language and feeding disorders.

Alicia Wyatt, MA, OTR
Alicia, a native of Lexington, Texas, received her Bachelor of Science degree in 2003 from Texas A&M University in Community Health. She went on to receive my Master of Occupational Therapy degree from Texas Woman's University in December of 2007 after completing two three month internships, one of which took place in a pediatric outpatient setting working with children five to 10 years of age. She has experience with developmental delay and sensory integration.
