Founded in 2002 by Stacey Lesieur, a Speech-Language Pathologist with her husband and business partner Robert Lesieur, Milestones Children’s Therapy began as a facility-based multidisciplinary clinic in Cedar Park, Texas. Rob has recently transitioned from a successful twenty-year career in the high tech industry to become the full time General Manager of Milestones.

In addition to full-time, professional business management, Milestones also has a designated “lead therapist” at each location as well as a clinical director. The lead therapist is responsible for working with the staff at their location to coordinate protocols and standard treatment practices across all of the therapy disciplines. The clinical director develops continuing education goals as well as driving initiatives for developmental training to increase each therapists scope of knowledge.

Adding space and staff, MCT has grown progressively. Initially meeting the needs of north Austin and Cedar Park, today the conveniently located facility serves children and families throughout greater North Austin metro area  including Round Rock, Pflugerville, Leander, Liberty Hill, and Georgetown.

Demand for our services throughout Austin has prompted the opening of a second location in South Austin, also serving Oak Hill, Dripping Springs, Buda, and Kyle. Opening in mid-June, this facility will be conveniently located in the Brodie Oaks shopping center at 360 and US290.

The staff at MCT is made up of experienced pediatric therapy specialists, focused on and committed to the best possible care of children of all ages. Specializations among the staff include expertise in feeding disorders, autism, torticollis, sensory integration therapy, functional and play-based interventions and developmental delay. To sustain and further enhance their knowledge, each therapist participates in ongoing professional education programs.

Our mission at Milestones Children’s Therapy is to create a child-centered environment where therapists and families work together to achieve the maximum potential of each child.

Using assessments, reports and observations, the physical, occupational and speech & language therapists at Milestones coordinate goals among the multi-disciplinary team and the family. A key goal is to always provide feedback and education to the family and, as appropriate, to other professionals in the child's life.
